Sid Reviewed on Apr 18, The unit arrived well packaged and was easy to connect to AC power. It energized without any issues. Process connections were made and distilled water was circulated throughout the system. Using cleat braided PVC tubing I could see dirty black water coming out from the unit. This dirty water returned to the chillers tank and contaminated 35 gals of distilled water. This dirty water had to be drained and then new fresh clean water was added. Obviously this was disappointing and I had to ask myself why didn’t VEVOR test /flush this unit at the factory? NOTE TO FUTURE OWNERS- FLUSH SYSTEM WITH TAP WATER AND DRAIN PRIOR TO ADDING DISTILLED WATER! In addition setting temperature to 45 degrees F or lower results in an ERROR of the unit “freezing up”. This was another disappointment since the unit is advertised to reach 41 degrees F but cannot actually achieve this. In conclusion, the unit is ok and well built but there are a couple of small details that would make the unit better if they were resolved.
