1 ModLiveUSB SDR environment (=bootable 16 GB USB3 flashdrive with Linux, the UHD driver, gnuradio and OpenBTS software installed, ready to run)
Due to the GPS sync, this system is continuously automatically calibrated. This results in very precise frequencies which are important for the correct working of a GSM network.(If the frequency of a basestation is too far off, some cellphones will reject and ignore the basestation)
This system comes with ModLiveUSB which is a bootable USB 3.0 Flash Drive, which contains a complete Linux operating system, the USRP Hardware Driver (UHD), GNUradio, OpenBTS and other software that works with our OpenBTS kits and the USRP product family. The ModLiveUSB is ideal for getting your OpenBTS kit oducts and associated software up and running as quickly as possible.
Note that ModLIveUSB is compiled specifically for Olifantasia OpenBTS kits with extref support enabled. ModLiveUSB will not work with a standard USRP.
If you need an even more precise clock or if you need the UHD timestamps synchronized with GPS then please see our U210SWBX-GPSDO-N1 or U210SSBX-GPSDO-O1. openbts-desktop-kit U210SWBX-GPSDO-N1 € See individual items below for datasheets.
